Emmy was the first baby successfully born to one of our goats, June, one of the original four, although it required a cesarean-section operation at 3am to make it happen. When the doctor pulled her out, he said she was dead. But Angelina took her in her arms and felt a faint heartbeat. With some stimulation, Emmy came to life with a ferocity that she never gave up. Either Gram or Townes is her father. Emmy was her mother's constant companion until June passed in 2017. She always kept all of the younger goats in line. Emmy passed on the farm due to complications from cancer.
