Gram and his brother, Townes, were born on a local farm. Their mother died and they came to live with us at just about a week old. Both Gram and Townes came to us as bottle babies and spent the first few weeks living inside our house in a makeshift stall.
Gram was a loyal second in command (behind Townes) for many years. He was curious and gentle. Either Townes or Gram is the father of Ira and Charlie. Gram passed in late May 2021 just shy of 10 years old. His heart failed and he passed on the farm.
