Lucinda, like her namesake, was a powerhouse. She was thick and strong with a magnificent lady beard and had unruly horns that she broke pieces off of multiple times from scrabbles with any goat that failed to show her the respect that she believed she was due. Lucinda spent a full year very ill with an internal abscess on her liver. Thanks to the dedicated care of our veterinarian, countless shots and ingested healing concoctions, a strong will to live and a healthy dose of magic, Lucinda completely recovered and returned to her role as sergeant of the pasture. She had the nickname of "baby goat tosser" for a reason. Lucinda passed at 14 years of age after a brief illness.
