Nina Simone, our youngest and smallest goat, came to the farm in the summer of 2017. She was bottle raised by her original owners but because of her stunted growth, they chose to separate her from the herd. She is smaller than all of our other goats but has a fierce and devious approach to life. She apparently carries myotonic genes which causes her to stiffen when startled or challenged. The other goats believe her to be a witch and generally give her wide berth. She is famous for having head butted the veterinarian after receiving a vaccination shot.
