Born:
Son House Cupid
Edward James "Son" House, Jr.
January 2015
Although we didn't know it at the time, Son House has the perfect name. He is our tallest goat with incredibly long legs. When he stands on his hind legs, he stands more than 7 feet tall. Son House, and his twin sister, Mattie, were born on a local dairy farm in the middle of an extremely cold winter. Their mother died and they came to live with us as bottle babies. They both lived in our house, mostly lying next to the space heater, for several months until the weather warmed. Son House and his sister are inseparable and sleep side by side every night.
